Varied symptoms: These varied symptoms may not be explainable by a disease but can be due,in part, to anxiety. Inner ear disorder, overactive thyroid and familial essential tremor also are possibilities. If you're short of breath at rest but not during physical activity, anxiety is very likely. Stress management therapy should be helpful in this regard. A checkup by your physician and consultation with neurology
