I would think that constipation would be a complication of Crohn's disease later in the disease when scarring in the intestinal tract occurs,when there's painful inflammation or scarring lower in the rectum or anus causing patients to delay bowel movements. This matter is best discussed with your gastroenterologist who knows details of where your Crohn's affects your GI tract.
