A member asked:

When a radiologist marks a finding as "subcritical radiology result" and triggers an automated notification workflow to the patient's primary care provider, does that mean the finding is potentially malignant? what exactly does "subcritical" mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

By itself, the action indicated the issue is not important enough that the radiologist would call the PCP, but does want them to look at the findings sooner rather than later. I would not assume the worst. If it was that bad they would call.
