Read that someone had a negative western blot after 16 weeks but had a positive swab test. should i trust my negativewb? i get reoccurring small splits in skin. home hsv swabs were negative & igg at 7 months negative. do i just not make antibodies?

I can't comment on the very unusual situation of the case you cite, but you definitely can trust the HSV Western blot test. The combination of all negative results (PCR swabs, IgG and WB) shows you do not have genital herpes and that something else is responsible for the "small splits".
