Cramping and bleedin: Several possibilities. One is that she may have gotten an infection. Best that she call her doctor for an examination to determine the cause.

Bring her to ER: She could be misscarrying eventhough she just had a cycle. Worse case scenario if the embryo is in the tube, it can double in size daily and potentially rupture her tube, which can be very dangerous and even fatal for her. Especially if her pain is significant, she needs to be seen.
