Are you overweight? You need to have this evaluated but it is not necessarily heart failure. If you are significantly overweight, the lymphatics will have difficulty moving the fluid from your legs. Elevating your legs while sitting can be helpful but weight loss is the best treatment. Your doctor can help with weight loss as well. Seeing a dietician/nutritionist can be helpful for diet strategies
