I had a cerclage put in two weeks ago, and also on progesterone. the doctor also put me on pelvic rest. i masturbated for the first time tonight and now that im thinking about it im a little nervous. should i be concerned?

Since masturbation can cause uterine contractions, even with a cerclage such may cause premature labor. "Pelvic rest" generally means avoidance of sexual activity to preserve the growing pregnancy without premature labor complicating this treatment.
