Had sex on pelvic rest. had small sch but have not spotted/bled for a week since i last saw doc. can the sex lead to miscarriage? no bleed after sex

Possibly: I typically have my patients wait 2 weeks after any bleeding resolves before resuming intercourse. There isn't a lot of science telling us the appropriate length of time. The concern is that the strain of intercourse or the contractions brought on by orgasm can re-tear the blood clots that have repaired at the site of bleeding (SCH).
