Hello, i performed a gen 4th duo hiv test on the 28th day (a few hours short from official 28th), result was negative. on 29th day, i got sore throat, and i can put my mind at ease that i cheated. should i retest?

Symptoms of HIV never start later than about 2 weeks after exposure, and cannot occur in the presence of a negative HIV blood test. For sure your sore throat isn't due to HIV.
