37yo f with tsh level 3.58. was told this is normal (reference value used was 0.61 - 4.23 iu/ml). experiencing weight gain, hair loss, low libido, tiredness, aches... attributed this to age. is this normal aging or hypothyroidism?

There are other endocrine abnormalities that can cause symptoms as you describe besides hypothyroidism. You should see an endocrinologist and have other labs checked. An endocrinologist can check other hormone levels to determine the etiology of your symptoms. Good luck!
