I had the standard blood tests for autoimmune diseases (no symptoms) all the tests came back normal except ana of pos 1.4. should i be concerned?

See below: Close to 30% of patients will have positive ana. If you did not have symptoms of autoimmune disease, it is not clear to me why this was performed. Odds are in your favor that you probably have nothing to worry about with you currently reporting no symptoms.

Probably not: If you mean your titer is 1:40, this is very common and unlikely to be true autoimmune disease in the absence of other abnormal labs and physical symptoms.
