Saw an ent yesterday and was told i have a possible vallecular cyst in my throat. he told me not to worry at all, but everything i read is scary. is this dangerous?

The membranes in those areas make mucus and these are though to arise when a mucus glands outlet is plugged. They are benign & similar to things people get in their mouth. I would trust your doc, or if spooked, get a 2nd opinion.
