This isn't a characteristic symptom of HIV but can indicate inflammation of muscles and autoimmune disorder. . Fibromyalgia causes muscle aching at rest& isn't an autoimmune disease. A rheumatologist is best to evaluate and advise you. Appropriate testing will be ordered. If you're still concerned about HIV get tested.
