Endoscopy showed aphthous ulcerations and erythema in the gastric body. sounds like aphthous ulcers are canker soresis it really possible to get canker sores in the stomach?

"Aphthous" is an uncommon description for ulcers in places other than the mouth. Probably the gastroenterologist who did the endoscopy does not suspect the same process as oral canker sore. This needs to be discussed with the gastroenterologist. Good luck.
