I have tinea versicolor, and i don't know what caused it. i lived in a behavior center since 15 i'm 20 now. recently i looked at the shower head and there was green mold on it. could that be it??

Tinea Versicolor is caused by a yeast called Malassezia globosa or furfur. You picked up the yeast at some point from a natural exposure. It is not considered contagious as a rule and responds to medications.
