Had a ct scan 2 days ago for the brain and i told the doctors i had a heart rate monitor on my chest. my concern is if i was exposed to more radiation due to the heart rate monitor being in my chest?

Don't be concerned, you were most likely exposed to the minimal amount of radiation necessary for your brain scan.

Apparently, imaging of the brain with a CAT scan is appropriate in the presence of the "heart rate monitor", as an MRI uses magnetic energy which could affect your device. No rationale to be concerned about radiation from modern CAT scanners.
