26 years ago i fell down some stairs, at the time my left buttock was extremely bruised and afterwards a lump formed. its never bothered me really apart from the fact that its very noticeable especially in tight clothing, lately its become larger?

26 years is a long time to wait to have an injury evaluated. Please seek examination by your General Practitioner who should have baseline information on you. If you don't have a GP, check in at Urgent Care or, preferably, start a relationship with a GP.
