Sore throat on & off now for about 3 weeks, but i have been traveling and on planes.this current sore throat has last 4 days and pain switches sides. going to ent. should i go to urgent care and test for strep? strep always have fever? complications?

Get a throat culture, rapid & routine,cbc& diff and a.mononucleosis test as the results will help the ENT. Strep throat infections often don't cause fever.
