A member asked:

Can i get tuberculosis from someone who had it 5 years ago but took anti tb drugs back then? is that person still contagious? i talked to him for 30 seconds while he was 1 meter away. is this enough for me to have contracted tb?

Live with someone with known active TB for a month & you would likely acquire it. The cited brief exposure is not considered worrisome even if the person were known to be contagious. The germ is not an easy one to get.
