Is it true that carrots improve your vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Carrots are an easy food source containing vitamin A. This vitamin is essential for maintaining normal vision. Eating a lot of carrots will not improve your visual deficits unless you are vitamin A deficient, which is difficult if you have a normal diet. Most visual deficits involve the shape of the eyeball which are dealt with using glasses or Lasik.
