Tips on healing itchy, flaking, red, inflamed skin (damaged barrier) that is also going through a breakout? i don't know why, but even when my t-zone is very breakout prone, those are the areas that my barrier is most damaged. why does that happen?

It seems as if you are treating an acne problem with some topical medications. If so, you might be getting a bit too dry and irritated from 1 or more of these products. See a dermatologist for evaluation and the proper treatment of your acne that is less problematic for your sensitive skin on your face
