Happy Fourth of July Doctors! I seem to get occasional constipation, but When I eat dairy my bowel movements are looser. Can I take something like Benefiber or Metamucil or Miralax to keep my bowel movements similar to how they are after I eat dairy?
I am taking Miralax every 3 days because of no bm..assuming that the Miralax will work, how do I know when to stop or to reduce taking the Miralax? Should I also take Benefiber or Metamucil, or should Miralax be enough for now?
Good morning doctors! I have once in awhile but somewhat consistent bouts of constipation. My Dr. suggested Benefiber daily along with taking Miralax or Colace. Assuming this works, how do I know when it's ok to reduce or stop these, or do I not stop?
