I had eaten hush puppies and popcorn and within 20 minutes i was having heart attack like symptoms. squeezing of the chest, short of breath, pain in my chest and back. kinda like a gallbladder attack but i do not have one?

Those symptoms seem more consistent with either esophagus or stomach or their connection, i.e. gastroesophageal junction, rather than your heart or gallbladder. I wonder if this meal is new to you. If symptoms recur in future meals then you should see a gastroenterologist. Take care.
