Had an iud placed in march at around 8 weeks postpartum. i had it for about a week until it moved out of place during sex and embedded partially in my uterus. it caused bleeding until it was removed. can that affect getting pregnant in future? anxiou?

Removal of an "embedded IUD" usually will not affect future pregnancy. If pregnancy is desired, and over six months elapse without pregnancy, see your GYN physician, who may order a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) to assure tubal patency.
