You can, with care..: Congratulations on your recent delivery. You are right to be concerned. Please take appropriate precautions to avoid getting pregnant until the baby's first birthday. Some form of contraception is warranted! what you are currently doing is not safe, as it results in pregnancy 20-30% of the time. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and be careful! your ob/gyn should offer proper contraception.
