A member asked:

What could cause lower back and abdominal pain that alleviates while moving and comes back while sitting/lying down? is ankylosing spondylitis the only condition that does that?

It could be due to many musculoskeletal issues, not just ankylosing spondylitis. You should see a doctor for an evaluation and to get this diagnosed. You can see a rheumatologist so that ankylosing spondylitis can be ruled in or out and your back issues and discomfort can be diagnosed and treated. Good luck!
