I was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis about 2 years ago. i've taken doxycycline first then metronidazole. doxycycline reduced discharge but it came back after sometime. metronidazole-no effects. i'd like to know if there's alternative treatment?

In view of no effect by metro. and poor by doxy- I would suggest an exam by a Gyn to see for any local problem and to also re-culture the area In the meantime keeping the area clean, using a condom and trying a OTC boric acid product
