A member asked:

What are some signs of growth spurts and how can i trigger one?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Growing is the biggest sign. Also muscle tightness in the thighs with often muscle cramps. You cannot trigger a growth spurt, it is just best to eat healthly and not worry about it. Male growth spurt typically occurs anywhere between age 10 and 16 and is about 2 years later than the female growth spurt. This is why boys can be shorter than girls at age 14.
