A member asked:

I felt a small lump in one of my testes. it is not painful and doesn't show any signs of growth. is there a reason to be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Any lump arising from the testicle(s), especially in a male under the age of 50, should be evaluated by a physician (preferably a urologist, if available) to both determine the cause and to rule out testicular cancer. "Lumps" that occur adjacent to or separate from the testicle are invariably benign whereas "lumps" arising from the testicle itself should be evaluated further with appropriate tests
