I have recently been diagnosed with pilonadial sinus and was prescribed antibiotics. today it has popped and draining blood. should i just let it heal or go and see a doctor?

You have an infected pilonidal cyst (abscess) and it drains spontaneously without I & D. In general, antibiotic does not cure the problem. If you are lucky the infected cyst will heal after the drainage. However, if it does not heal by itself (likely) your doctor needs to intervene for excising the cyst entirely. Good luck.
