Hi i have been seeing small black specks in my urine for about a week now, they come and go but it has been relatively consistent. i am wondering what that means. i dont see any foam or blood in my urine either so i just want to know what to expect?

We can pass various types of sediments in our urine. Some sloughfed off cells in the urinary tract may be the cause. In my experience black specks have most often been fragments of stones in the upper or lower urinary tract. Even though you have no symptoms, I recommend that you have a clean catch urinalysis,culture,colony count& microscopic exam of sediment for complete evaluation of your urine.
