Stop apple cider, increase nexium total dose to 40 mg, twice a day for 2 weeks then taper nexium dose to 40 mg a day when pain is under control. You can also take antacid like mylanta for a couple days before meals and at bed time. Good luck.

Continue the Nexium daily and consider adding in over the counter antacids such as tums or mylanta. You should avoid apple cider vinegar all together. You can look up anti-reflux measures online to find other ways to avoid acid reflux while you’re waiting to be seen. Good luck.
