Good sleep hygiene is important for health. Make sure to keep to a routine (same bedtime, sequence of events) in order to fall asleep regularly. Make sure your room is dark and extra noise is eliminated to help you stay asleep. Use ear plugs or eye mask if these are problematic. Avoid eating before bed, drinking too much fluids before bed and set your alarm at the same time in the morning.
