How do you know you have Candida auris? There have been almost no infections or positive tests in outwardly healthy people, i.e. only in life-threatening sepsis (bloodstream infection). Testing is easy -- finding Candida by culture from the vagina or throat is common, and positive results are easy to determine C. auris. (Just having hard to treat vaginal infection or thrush doesn't mean auris.)
