It depends on ho wrong you have been taking it but, in general, that would likely be enough. There typically is not a lot of withdrawal symptoms from hydroxyzine. Good luck to you!

Hydroxyzine is not known to cause withdrawal, symptoms that were addressed by its use may come back. There might be misunderstanding in the communication with your PCP, make sure you clarify, majority of cases we tend to discontinue meds not believed to be helping or causing intolerable side effects.
