If your symptoms have persisted despite a two week course of acid suppression, it may be a good idea to be seen by a gastroenterologist. You may benefit from having a look at the upper digestive tract by endoscopy. If your food is sticking on the way down, an esophageal dilatation would be possible also. Good luck.
