Th ibuprofen may cause more edema, depending on why you have this edema. It may be safer for you to take acetaminophen for a fever instead of the ibuprofen, if possible. You should call your doctor to see if it is safe for you to take the ibuprofen and at what dose and for how long. Good luck to you!
