The duration of chronic prostatitis varies depending on the individual and the underlying cause of the condition. In some cases, chronic prostatitis may last for several months or even years, while in other cases it may resolve more quickly. Treatment options for chronic prostatitis include antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, and lifestyle changes such as avoiding spicy foods and caffeine.

It depends in many things eg type of infection, personal immunity, co-morbid conditions like Diabetes, urinary conditions- so it is hard to predict. Permanancy of cure in any disease is hard to do or predict. Stay with your Urologist and wish you luck
