I have chronic prostatitis. can this be cured?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Chronic prostatitis is a difficult diagnosis to treat and harder to cure. The causes are often difficult to determine, some evidence has shown improvement in symptoms with Flomax (tamsulosin) (or other Alpha blockers) and pelvic floor physical therapy. Try to not get frustrated and work with your urologist to help determine the cause and if any treatment works for you. Realize this process may take time.
