Dr said my esophagus is red and he diagnosis me as silent reflux but i have no symptoms. could the red esophagus be a sign of other thing?

Typically, during an upper endoscopy, the esophagus that has reflux affecting it looks a certain way and the GI doctor can diagnose this based on this appearance. They likely also took specimens to be certain, for example, there is no infection or even malignancy. You should ask the GI doctor if these specimens were sent to the lab and, if so, what the results were. Good luck!

Generally, gastroenterologists are good at evaluating whether acid reflux is the likely cause of irritation of the esophagus. You should follow whatever treatment regimen the G.I. doctor recommends and discuss it with your doctor at a follow up visit, depending on how you do with the medications . Good luck.
