Chronic constipation since oct '22. gi doctors haven't found cause. enemas & laxatives no longer work. today pooped out soft, pale yellow tissue w/ grey veins. smells terrible. gi dr. i called to show no call back yet. how to preserve it to test?

Examining or lab tests on the stool in this situation might not be necessary or helpful. If you proceed, all you need is a sealed container like a screw top jar or a tightly sealed ziplock bag; and keep it in the refrigerator.
