Of course this is a dangerous act. Zoloft tablets are not suitable for intranasal absorption and we wouldn't know how.much of the medication made it into his/her system. Perhaps too much too soon. The nasal membrane could also be injured. If severe nasal pain or any problematic systemic side effects are present, your friend should be seen in the ER.

Urge your "friend" to seek medical care ASAP at ER or Urgent Care Center. It is reckless and risky to "snort" a medication designed for oral ingestion.
