Is it harmful that i took a lot of extra zoloft (sertraline)?

Avoid in general: Zoloft/sertraline in general is a safe medication. That said, it should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The maximum daily dose is 200 mg. If you take large amounts of zoloft in combination with other serotonin medications, you could have a case of a rare but life-threatening condition called serotonin syndrome.

Wanting to Die?: Did you do this as a suicide attempt? What prompted you to take 'so much' zoloft (sertraline) at once? Did you feel differently or have any other consequences when you did this?
