False positive RPR results are quite common, especially during pregnancy. If you have not been at obvious risk of syphilis and other STDs, the result probably is false. Almost all doctors and labs know to automatically do confirmatory testing for all positive RPR results. You can expect yours to also be negative. Good luck and best wishes for a successful pregnancy!
