What's the cause?: Are you clenching & grinding your teeth? Then a dentist made guard can help. Are your teeth chipping /breaking from harmful habits - like ice chewing, biting pens &pencils, using your teeth as tools to open things? Then stop doing that. Are they breaking because you have large fillings? See your dentist to determine a treatment for more durable restorations that place less stress on the teeth.

Yes, to a point: It depends on why they are chipping & breaking. You have given us zero information to answer your question. Teeth can chip/break from grinding, large restorations, & cavities. You need to have a complete dental exam with radiographs by a local dentist. In this way a treatment plan can be presented to you to help you repair your damaged teeth. All the best...

Mouthguard: You may be clenching or grinding your teeth.. You might want to pick up an inexpensive no-boil mouth-guard at a pharmacy to see if it gives y you any relief. If it does then you can have your dentist fabricate a professional one. Good luck.

Invisalign - Guard: See a dentist who has extensive bite equilibration training. Pankey mastery dentists are excellent for this and they may recommend a bite guard or even invisalign braces to put you in a more ideal bite and jaw position. We do both, so if you need a referral in your part of the country, call my office and we will do our best to find you help.
