The goal for blood pressure is less than 120/80. However, the blood pressure would need to be taken on more than 1 occasion for any diagnosis to be made. Perhaps, you should get a home blood pressure monitor and take readings at various times during the day. You may find that most of the time, your blood pressure is well below that reading and perhaps was higher when a nurse was taking it.

A blood pressure of 128/81 is fine. You have to remember that your blood pressure fluctuates normal way up and down slightly every time you measure it. This is very close to the normal range. Continue the healthy habits that you described. You are doing well. Good luck.
