Colonoscopy does not detect causes of burning in your upper stomach- just the large intestine. For these symptoms could be due to many conditions eg indigestion, stomach and esophageal conditions. Check with your doc or GI.

Internal hemorrhoids would not cause pain in the upper abdomen. If you have significant pain in the upper abdomen, you need further testing other than a colonoscopy to help elucidate the cause. You should talk with your gastroenterologist about what the proper approach should be. Good luck.
