Data: There isn't enough direct data here to know. If you've had the cardiac cath you list above and your cardiologist isn't concerned chances are he's correct. The cath is the specific test we use to determine the hemodynamic significance of the mitral regurg. Lvh and its cause are not explained enough here to comment.
