Patient x has one kidney and a creatine level of 2.85. he doesnt drink a lot of water. is is on bp meds to lower his bp and i believe cholesterol medication. what should he do to prevent having to go on dialysis or ckd?

He should stay hydrated. He should ask his doctor if an ACE-inhibitor would be helpful. He should see a nutritionist and get on the correct diet to avoid high potassium and magnesium levels, etc. He should avoid medications that can harm the kidneys-his doctor can provide those to him.
