No it doesn't: Drinking lots of water, within reason, is plain healthy. Keeps kidneys flushed, reduces risk of kidney stones ; insures satisfactory hydration of entire body. Water intake often has to be reduced in some people with kidney failure ; those on dialysis because failed kidneys may not be able to filter suffuciently.
